"What is it: Commitment-free color when you need it most. This Pronto Colore root touch-up and highlighting pen instantly erases unruly gray roots, disguises dark roots, and lets you create or enhance highlights with a professional, natural looking finish. Who is it for: Anyone who has been forced to stretch the time between salon appointments.
For women with gray roots, dark roots, or single gray strands that need to be disguised. Can also be used by men with gray hair, sideburns, or beards. Why is it different: The salon-quality formula was made by highly skilled salon colorists, in shades that are easy to match to your own hair color.
The natural-looking cream is formulated with gentle conditioners and is free of ammonia, peroxide, phenylenediamme, and other harsh chemicals. The water-resistant formula bonds to the hair shaft so it will not rub or flake off until shampooed out. The brush applicator makes it easy to apply without a mess, clumping, staining your skin or scalp, or altering your natural hair color.
How do I use it: To prepare the pen, twist it several times to dispense color--up to 15 times initially. After this, color will load into pen instantly. Dab the tip with a tissue to remove excess.
Do not overuse the product--a little bit goes a long way. To erase gray hair or disguise dark roots, apply to small sections at a time, about 1/4""W. Lift the hair away from the scalp, making sure to pull hair firm.
Starting at the root, paint a thin layer of color onto the hair in smooth, sweeping strokes. Use a comb to evenly disperse. Always apply to dry hair, focusing on natural part, hairline, and temples.
Allow product to dry for up to five minutes before touching. Wash off skin with soap and water. Men can lightly apply to sideburns and beard to disguise gray.
