Each Hair Hugger is handcrafted in collaboration with the Leakey Collection and made by women of the Maasai tribe in Kenya. The beads are dried African grass which is hand cut, dyed, and strung with glass blown beads onto resin stretch bands. Each piece is unique and creates jobs for women in the Rift Valley of eastern Africa.
